HEY, I’M MANDY
My name is Mandy Howard, and I am an event photographer near Annapolis, MD with a background of over 10 years in creative services and a heart for youth development.
I am a visual storyteller who loves to tell a good story. Sometimes the most engaging stories are told through moments that turn into memories, and I want to help you tell your story. I love capturing your events and personal journeys through relaxed sessions and vibrant photojournalistic images. Whether it’s an engagement, a wedding, event, family gathering, or the anticipation of new life during maternity sessions, I’m here to document these milestones with authenticity and creativity.
MY CREATIVE EXPERIENCE
In addition to my freelance work, I am a full time Project Manager, Client & Creative Services for FirstPic, Inc., a management consulting firm that believes in ensuring that kids across the nation are provided with the best opportunities and access to mentors who care.
My work providing creative advocacy for youth at FirstPic, Inc. has given me the opportunity to work with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Under Armour, National 4-H Council, MENTOR National, Sea Research Foundation, Nancy Lieberman Charities, Amber Alert, National PAL, Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, U.S. Department of Justice and U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development.

When it comes to my work, it’s about more than just a paycheck. I pour my heart into every creative endeavor because I genuinely care about people. As a Christian, my passion for making a difference is deeply rooted in my faith and love for Jesus. I’m driven by a mission to advocate for the kids who need us most, striving to transform communities.
Beyond the professional realm, you will find me immersed in the bustling energy of children’s ministry at Cornerstone Church. Spending time with a group of vibrant 5th grade girls, sharing lessons and leading games, fills me with an indescribable sense of fulfillment. It’s moments like these that remind me why I’m so passionate about what I do.
When it comes to serving my clients, honesty and accountability are my guiding principles. I pride myself on my lightning-fast email responses and quick turnaround times for galleries. Waiting months to see your images after a session? That’s simply not how I operate. My goal is to ensure that every client walks away not just satisfied, but genuinely delighted with their photos.
